Resources

SAHRA, both alone and through partnership with other groups on campus, provides resources required to meet SAHRA’s mission of integration, incubation, and synthesis of the University of Arizona’s strengths in water-related basic research projects.  These include:

• Program development capabilities including seed and leverage funding, meeting space, administrative support for scheduling and communications, technical writing, editing, and other program development support
• Physical integration of students, postdocs, and investigators obtained by housing students from interdisciplinary, water-centered projects in one location (fifth floor Marshall building)

• Co-location of SAHRA with the Institute of the Environment (http://www.environment.arizona.edu/), and Biosphere 2 (http://www.b2science.org/) on the fifth floor of the Marshall building to facilitate interactions and capitalize on the unique strengths and capabilities of each group

• Computer and database support for students and researchers on interdisciplinary research projects

• Business office support to meet the challenges and needs of large, multi-department, multi-college projects

• Access to Knowledge Transfer and Stakeholder Engagement expertise developed during the SAHRA STC and by other groups on campus
